There are times when travel photography can also become an historical record. And so it was that in August 1989 I found myself in Berlin on business, with an opportunity to take time out and visit both sides of the then intact Berlin Wall. Come a year later on a second visit, the wall was being torn down. This set of images commemorates the 25 year anniversary of its fall. Most pictures were taken on Kodak Tri_X film (after all it was a quarter of a century ago!), scanned and then processed afresh using Silver Efex software. Most are without description as I prefer the images to speak for themselves.
